Does Wexley upload or read my manuscript?
No. Your Books, Collections, Story Bible data, and Local Intelligence processing remain on your device. Online services verify your account and access—not your manuscript. Exports leave the app only when you choose to save or share them.
What can I export?
Books can export twelve destination-oriented EPUB packages, a clean Editable DOCX, and Print interior packages for six retailer profiles. Collections can export EPUB and Print packages, but not Editable DOCX. Wexley validates generated files and supplies reports or checklists, but retailers make the final acceptance decision.
Can I bring in an existing book?
Yes. Import DOCX or TXT, paste text, or start inside Wexley. The app detects supported structure and known book matter for review. V1 does not import an entire EPUB as a new Book; EPUB tools are limited to selected-page matter ingestion and coarse Reference Style mapping.
What makes Wexley Intelligence different?
It creates structured Character and Worldbuilder drafts on your device using selected Story Bible context. You review and edit the result before choosing Save, and generation can be canceled or stopped when device conditions make local inference unsafe.
Which devices are supported?
Wexley Pro supports compatible iPhones and iPads running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Performance varies with device resources, storage, manuscript size, operating-system version, and thermal conditions.
